This is the wildest vintage Omega Constellation that we at Cph Vintage Watches have ever had the pleasure of holding in our hands. The watch is made of solid 18 carat yellow gold and the case itself has sharp and unpolished facets. Also, the dial is completely untouched and as it was when it left the factory. Add to that the fact that the watch comes on the original vintage Omega strap including buckle, and you have a watch that is extremely rare to see.
For many collectors of vintage Omega, the Constellation watches are the best that Omega produced in the sixties. Within that line, the Pie Pan dial is particularly sought after. In addition, the watch case with the so-called Dog Legs is probably the most desired, because it sits nicely on the wrist and has a striking, but still classic appearance.
This watch ticks all three boxes and is thus one of the most sought-after vintage Constellations.
In the 60s, the Constellation series was Omega's absolute top series and this watch is certified by the Swiss Chronometer Institute. Only the best and most precise watches achieved this certification, which is why the watch bears the text "officially certified" on the dial.
In addition to the original strap, the watch also comes with a brand new quality leather strap, which we are happy to put on if you wish to keep the original strap. It has also been recently serviced.
